The drive device has a wiper arm holder (30) propelled by a drive axle (32) by an eccentric disc (28), where movement of the eccentric disc is controlled by a steering wheel (34). A supporting axle (36) of the steering wheel is spaced from the drive axle. The supporting axle is supported at a stationary counter bearing (40) over a connecting part. The connecting part includes a connecting rod that is coupled with the counter bearing over a control arm (38). A circulating electro-motor i.e. wiper motor (42), is coupled with the eccentric cam over a thrust link.
