<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus enabling a most seriously physically handicapped person who can hardly move his (or her) body and is extremely difficult to transmit his (or her) intention by normal methods to transmit the intention. <P>SOLUTION: An intention transmission apparatus for a most seriously physically handicapped person is provided. Since most seriously physically handicapped persons may often perform only blinking, the apparatus enables the most seriously physically handicapped person being a user to transmit his (or her) intention to other persons by entering images around the eyes of the most seriously physically handicapped person into a personal computer by using a video camera attached to spectacles, processing the images to detect blinking and selecting characters by the detected blinking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
