<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell which can reduce a pressure inside a cell efficiently, and can shorten a time necessary to inject an electrolyte. <P>SOLUTION: The solar cell 51 includes a translucent substrate 1, a support substrate 2, a photoelectric conversion part 5 and a counter electrode 6 arranged separately between the translucent substrate 1 and the support substrate 2, an electrolyte part 7 which is in contact with the photoelectric conversion part 5 and counter electrode 6, and is arranged between the translucent substrate 1 and the support substrate 2, and a sealing part 4 which surrounds and seals the electrolyte part 7 so as to hold the electrolyte part 7 in an electrolyte arrangement region defined by a long axis and a short axis. First opening parts 8a, 8b communicating the electrolyte part 7 and an external are arranged on at least one end part in a long axis direction of the electrolyte arrangement region. One or more second opening parts 9 communicating the electrolyte part 7 and the external are arranged in an intermediate part in the long axis direction of the electrolyte arrangement region.
