PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for performing higher-reliability network diagnosis than before.

SOLUTION: The information processor 200 includes: a first communication part communicating with a printer 100 having a diagnostic function of a network by use of a first communication method; a second communication part communicating with the printer 100 by use of a second communication method; and a transmission part transmitting a prescribed signal for confirming presence of an external device to the printer 100 through the second communication part. The transmission part transmits the prescribed signal when the transmission of the prescribed signal is requested from the printer 100 through the first communication part.
