PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated core which is high in mechanical strength, can be released from a press metal die and handled without trouble, and can easily perform winding work when manufacturing the laminated core which is composed of annularly aligned divided laminated cores by using a press mold device, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: In the laminated core 10 in which fixing plates 14, 15 are arranged at either or both of the upper end and the lower end of a laminated core body 13 constituted by annularly arranging the divided laminated cores 12 formed by laminating a plurality of divided core pieces 11, and in the manufacturing method thereof, the fixing plates 14, 15 have surplus regions which partially or wholly cover a space 24 formed by penetrating at least the laminated core body 13 in the lamination direction when laminating the divided core pieces.
