PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus capable of reducing the temperature of a display panel. SOLUTION: A display apparatus includes a display panel, and a chassis (6) which supports the display panel on a supporting plane through a viscous sheet. The chassis (6) has a recessed portion (61) obtained by recessing a part of the supporting plane to the back side. The recessed portion (61) has upper and lower openings.
