PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-blast circuit breaker capable of reducing damages on an inner wall of a heating chamber at the time of circuit-breaking and suppressing insulation deterioration between electrodes. SOLUTION: The gas-blast circuit breaker, in which a third opening/closing member 9 bridging a first opening/closing member 8 and a second opening/closing member 8b moves an operation shaft to open the circuit, includes: an arc chamber 10 located between the first opening/closing member 8a and the second opening/closing member 8b; a pressure chamber 16 arranged in communication with the arc chamber 10; an exhaust port 18 for exhausting gas flowing from the arc chamber 10 into the pressure chamber 16; a heating chamber 11 surrounding the arc chamber 10 in a circumferential direction of the operation shaft; a spraying slit 12 communicating the arc chamber 10 and the heating chamber 11 in the circumferential direction of the arc chamber 10; an insulative dividing wall 13 forming an outer wall of the heating chamber in the circumferential direction; and a cooling plate 14 which has a projected part 14a projecting from the dividing wall 13 toward the spraying slit 12 and is made of a resin material opposed to the spraying slit 12 at a tip end part 14aa.
