PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle-mounted monitor system provided with a plurality of monitors, which readily operates each monitor by a single unit of remote controller. SOLUTION: The vehicle-mounted monitor system has a main monitor 22 provided within a vehicle room 100A; a rear monitor 13 arranged more backward than the main monitor 22; a remote controller 12 which emits optical signals corresponding to operation of an operator;, a front light receiver 22C of the main monitor 22; a rear light receiver 13C of the rear monitor 13; and a controller which controls the display states of the main monitor 22 and the rear monitor 13, according to optical signals if the front light receiver 22C and the rear light receiver 13C receive the optical signals emitted from the remote control unit 12. The front light receiver 22C and rear light receiver 13C are arranged toward the rear portion, and the controller determines an optical signal as instruction for either the front light receiver 22C or the rear light receiver 13C, based on the light receiving states of the front light receiver and the rear light receiver, and performs operation according to the instruction.
