PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator which eliminates the necessity of a dedicated operation means serving as a means for changing an informing means informing door opening to off setting, simplifies an operation and suppresses malfunction. SOLUTION: The refrigerator includes: a storage compartment provided in a refrigerator body; a door opening/closing a front face opening of the storage compartment; a sensing means sensing the opening/closing state of the door; and the informing means informing a user that opening of the door for a predetermined time is sensed by the sensing means. The refrigerator further includes a setting change means stopping the information by the informing means with the door opened.
