PURPOSE: A furnace equipped with a heater height control device is provided to reduce heat loss on side walls and keep the internal temperature uniform by reducing the distance between a heater and an object being heated. CONSTITUTION: A furnace comprises a feed roller(4) which transfers an object being heated, an upper heater(1) which is arranged above the feed roller to heat the object, a lower heater(2) which is arranged under the feed roller to heat the object, and a heater height control device(3) which raises and lowers at least one of the upper and lower heaters. |
