The method involves embedding an electrically conductive structure into an insulating mass defining a contour of an electrical plug connector (1). Two half shells (2, 3) are produced by injection molding and are made of thermoplastic or chemical cross-linked elastomer. Rubber solution or adhesive is applied on bonding surfaces (8) of the half shells. Sandwiches are formed from the half shells, where the electrically conductive structure lies between the half shells. The sandwiches are connected by vulcanization or adherence.
