AN APPARATUS FOR USER INTERFACE BY DETECTING INCREASE OR DECREASE OF TOUCH AREA AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A UI(User Interface) apparatus and control method thereof by touch area resizing detection are provided to input a character by using virtual keyboard buttons on a touch screen. CONSTITUTION: A touch screen(14) displays an image and detects touch area resizing and touch release. A controller(11) controls a command in a touch region. A storing unit(15) stores the command in order to perform operation of the controller. The fixed region is a virtual button displayed on the touch screen.
