PURPOSE: An electric fence using a solar cell and an operation method thereof are provided to prevent damage to wild animals when the wild animals are in contact with the fence by outputting warning sounds and light. CONSTITUTION: An electric fence using a solar cell comprises a solar cell(11), a charging unit(13), a pulse high-voltage output unit(19), and a control unit(29). The solar cell converts solar energy into electric energy. The charging unit receives the converted electric energy. The pulse high-voltage output unit receives power from the charging unit and outputs high-voltage for warning or high-voltage for sensing. When the charging amount of the charging unit is more than the critical charging amount, the control unit periodically supplies high-voltage for warning to the fence. When the charging amount of the charging unit is less than the critical charging amount, the control unit generates high-voltage for sensing which is lower than the high-voltage for warning. |
