摘要 PURPOSE: A segment switching device of an on-line electric vehicle system and a controlling method thereof are provided to minimize time delay due to a filter or other devices by detecting increasing or decreasing power according to the location of the on-line electric vehicle. CONSTITUTION: One end of a first switch is connected to a positive terminal of a DC input voltage. One end of a second switch is connected to a negative terminal of the DC input voltage. A power detector detects the power variation of a segment with an on-line electric vehicle and an adjacent segment. A controller(150) switches on and off first and second switches to prevent power from being supplied to the segment in a power decreasing direction and supplies power to the segment in a power increasing direction.
