<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device loaded on a vehicle including a traveling motor using a battery as a power source, capable of providing proper information on a charge of the battery to a user when retrieving a parking lot. <P>SOLUTION: When retrieval of a parking lot is instructed by the user, a navigation ECU 7 retrieves parking lots in the periphery of a present place from a map database 9. In this case, charge cost related to each retrieved parking lot is determined from a present residual capacity of the battery 1 acquired from a battery monitoring device 3, charge related information acquired from an information service center 4 by an on-vehicle communication apparatus 5 and an inputted scheduled parking time or target charge amount, and the result is displayed as a list on the screen of a display device 12.
