<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking method, a marking tool and a punch press which, when performing marking on a surface of a workpiece by a rotary tool, perform such marking that the width of the marked lines can be constant over the entire length thereof. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for marking the surface of a workpiece, the fore end of the rotary tool 57 is kept in contact with the surface of the workpiece, and concurrently with start of the relative movement of the workpiece W in X-axis direction and/or Y-axis direction with respect to the rotary tool 57, the rotation of the rotary tool 57 is started, and concurrently with stop of the movement of the workpiece in X-axis direction and Y-axis direction relative to the rotary tool 57, the rotation of the rotary tool is stopped, or the rotary tool is retracted from the workpiece. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
