摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in the circuit scale of an image processor in comparison with the conventional technique even though the number of color components included in multi-valued image data increases. SOLUTION: A switch control circuit 7 generates a switch control signal S7 which represents color components of pixel data D8 of a processing object output from a color separation circuit 8. A threshold table memory 3 outputs threshold data corresponding to the color components of the pixel data D8 to a quantization circuit 10. A main scanning error calculation circuit 9 calculates corrected data D9 by calculating accumulated error data D9a on the basis of an error diffusion coefficient corresponding to the color components of the pixel data D8 and error data D10e from the quantization circuit 10 to add the accumulated error data D9a to the pixel data D8 on the basis of the switch control signal S7. The quantization circuit 10 uses the threshold data from the threshold table memory 3 to quantize the corrected data D9 to quantized data D10q and calculate quantized error data D10e.
