PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame retardant, styrene-based thermoplastic resin composition excellent in scratch resistance, flame retardant property and molding processability, and a molded article of the same. SOLUTION: This flame retardant, styrene-based thermoplastic resin composition excellent in scratch resistance, flame retardant property and molding processability is obtained by blending a halogen-based flame retardant, antimony trioxide and a phosphorus-based flame retardant based on the styrene-based resin in a specific ratio, and also blending a higher fatty acid alcohol ester of the esterified compound of a 12-32C higher fatty acid with a 12-32C higher alcohol, and/or a glycerol fatty acid ester in a specific ratio.
