PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-dimensional displacement sensor capable of preventing decrease in accuracy of measurement of the displacement of an object due to difference between a recognized shape based on a light receiving signal and the actual shape of the object. SOLUTION: The two-dimensional displacement sensor 1 includes a designation unit 37 allowing a user to designate an object region of an object within a display screen of a display unit on which a recognized shape M2 is displayed and a displacement measurement unit 33 performing displacement measurement of the object on the basis of the light receiving signal from a pixel in the region on an image pickup surface of a two-dimensional imaging unit 15 corresponding to the object region, thereby extracting a rectilinear region N corresponding to a rectilinear part along a direction perpendicular to a measurement direction in an object from among the recognized shape on the basis of the light receiving signal from the two-dimensional imaging unit to display the rectilinear region in the display screen in a manner of allowing discrimination from the other region of the recognized shape.
