The combination has a motor drivable paper shredder device (B) and a motor drivable paper stacker device (C) accommodated in a cabinet (A). A common motor drives the shredder device and the stacker device and is selectively and mechanically or electromechanically coupled with the shredder device and/or the stacker device. A universal serial bus (USB)interface is provided in the cabinet as a power supply for an external device, and a common power source is provided in the cabinet for the motor and the interface.
