The module (44) has two guide frames (7, 8) for guiding a glass fiber and/or an optical fiber cable in the module. Two circulation cylinders (1) are provided for winding the glass fiber and/or the optical fiber cable in the module, where the guide frames and the circulation elements form walls. A support surface (15) is arranged in a plane that intersects the walls of the guide frames and the circulation elements such that the walls are divided with same height. A front diaphragm receives an end of the glass fiber or the optical fiber cable, where height of the module is 0.5-1 height unit. An independent claim is also included for a module carrier comprising a retaining device pickup.
