PURPOSE: A reduction gear and a digital door lock using the same are provided to prevent damage to a driving gear and a motor due to reverse rotational force applied to a driven gear. CONSTITUTION: A driving gear(13) is engaged with a driven gear(20) and rotates around a rotary axis(12) rotated by a motor. The driven gear is rotated by the rotation force of the motor. A power transmission unit rotates with the motor and the driving gear. A power transmission unit is arranged between the rotary axis and the driving gear to transmit power between the rotary axis and the driving gear.
