<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entrance structure which enables a person to easily put on/off his/her shoes without drawing up his/her knees, easily stand up and stably seat himself/herself, at an entrance. <P>SOLUTION: In this entrance structure in which a staircase 24 is provided in an entrance hall 21, a first-step treadboard of the staircase 24 is formed as a wide treadboard 24b wider than other treadboards 24a; and an end 24c of the wide treadboard 24b is positioned on a crossrail 23 horizontally laid on the step section of the entrance, so that the person can sit thereon. Thus, the person can more easily put on/off his/her shoes without drawing up his/her knees than in the case where the he/she sits on the crossrail 23, and can more easily stand up because a waist position becomes higher. Additionally, since he wide treadboard 24b is the first-step treadboard of the staircase 24, it is firmly fixed.
