<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell generator capable of reducing a loss of a high frequency insulation transformer. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell generator includes a DC power source 11 consisting of a fuel cell, a first converter 16 for stepping up an output voltage of the DC power source 11, a second converter 17 which steps up the output voltage of the first converter 16 to a predetermined DC voltage that is higher than the maximum value of AC voltage of a system 19, an inverter 18 which converts the output voltage of the second converter 17 to the AC voltage that can be interlocked with the system 19, and a control unit 20 for controlling the first converter 16, the second converter 17, and the inverter 18. The second converter 17 includes a resonance voltage generating unit 21 for generating a resonance voltage, and a resonance voltage peak reducing unit 22 which reduces the peak of the resonance voltage generated by the resonance voltage generating unit 21 so that the output voltage of the second converter 17 comes to a predetermined DC voltage.
