PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor that easily classifies electronic files in accordance with user's purpose and, even when a location of an electronic file is changed, maintaining an association between the electronic file and attribute information. SOLUTION: A plurality of electronic files associated with attribute information wherein a set of elements is recorded are classified into hierarchical virtual folders 507 to 517 as virtual electronic files. With respect to a predetermined virtual folder, lists 518 to 521 are displayed for prompting the user to select a classification condition included in the elements by his or her operation. If an element satisfying the classification condition selected from the lists is retrieved from attribute information classified into the predetermined virtual folder, a virtual subfolder of the predetermined virtual folder is generated to classify the attribute information having the element into the virtual subfolder.
