METHOD FOR MACHINING ORIFICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for machining an orifice that can machine a recess and the orifice with different hole diameters with high positional accuracy in a short time. SOLUTION: A press device includes a B-axis angle indexing device 3 provided on a base 2b and provided with a table B; an A-axis angle indexing device 25 provided on the table B and provided with a table A; a chuck 32 provided on the table A to hold a workpiece; a base Z6 provided on the base and operable in a direction of an axis Z; a base X8 provided on the base Z and operable in a direction of an axis X; a punch holding part 13 provided on the base X and liftable in a direction of an axis Y; and a plurality of punches 19, 22 held to the punch holding part in parallel with the axis Z. The press device is used to continuously perform a cycle of changing the attitude of the workpiece and moving the punches in the Z-direction to carry out press working in a desired position with the punches of different tip diameters and shape while chucking the workpiece.
