PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accommodate and fix a commodity in a vessel having the same size without using a cushioning material, even when the size of the commodity is very different. SOLUTION: After an article is placed on an extensible and contractible member 121 extended over the opening 111 of the packing vessel 100, the opening 111 is closed by the second cover 113a mounted at the end of the opening 111 of the vessel member 110 so as to cover the portion extended over the opening 111 of the extensible and contractible member 121 and the article from the direction vertical to the extending direction. A winding member 122 applies tension to the extensible and contractible member 121 in the extending direction with the second cover 113a closed to fix the extensible and contractible member 121 with the article held by the second cover 113a and the extensible and contractible member 121.
