PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine excellently increasing the degree of attention to a game. SOLUTION: A Pachinko game machine includes a symbol display device 41 with a display screen. The symbol display device 41 includes a liquid crystal panel and a back light board installed on the back surface of the liquid crystal panel. In this case, the liquid crystal panel includes: a liquid crystal layer for image display having different transmittance depending on the orientation of liquid crystal molecules; and a non-color area and a color area which are arranged side by side so that the transmittance of light becomes relatively high and low in a situation in which the orientation of the liquid crystal molecules is the same. By controlling the orientation of the liquid crystal molecules corresponding to the color area, a color image is displayed in the color area.
