PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce a scene interested by a user, while emphasizing the scene rather than other scenes. SOLUTION: A face detection unit 54 detects the face of a person from a moving image picked up by an imaging unit 16. A frame rate control unit 55 controls a frame rate, in reproducing the moving image, set to the imaging unit 16 on the basis of a detection state of the face of the person detected by the face detection unit 54. A recording control unit 52 causes a moving image recording unit 61 to record image data of the moving image on the basis of the frame rate controlled by the frame rate control unit 55.
