The source unit (8) has a cooling device representing a cooling body (10) whose surface area is thermally applied with a first luminescent material (12) e.g. aluminum and silver. An optical collimation device (14) e.g. compound parabolic concentrator and compound elliptic concentrator, is coupled between the material and a mirror (18) i.e. dichroic mirror. The mirror is coupled between excitation beam sources (16) i.e. LED, and the collimation device. A moving device moves the body such that second and third materials are exposed to radiation of the sources during time durations, respectively. An independent claim is also included for a projector comprising an optical filtering apparatus coupled between a mirror and an indicator device for displaying light. |
