Disclosed is a lens driver device provided with a projection lens (7) which projects onto a projection surface image light irradiated onto an incidence plane; a vertical shifting structure and a horizontal shifting structure which shift the position of the image light incident in the incident plane of the projection lens (7) by shifting the projection lens (7) in vertical and horizontal directions perpendicular to the optical axis of the projection lens (7); a plurality of first through fourth reflection members (17a to 17d), which are configured on the outer edge part of the projection lens (7) such that there is at least one thereof which reflects the image light when the position of the image light in the incidence plane of the projection lens (7) is in proximity to the outer edge part of the projection lens (7); first through fourth light receiving elements (18a to 18d) which receive the image light reflected by the first through fourth reflection members (17a to 17d); and a control unit which controls the shifting of the projection lens (7) by way of the vertical and horizontal shifting structures on the basis of signals outputted from the plurality of first through fourth light receiving elements (18a to 18d).
