PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing pitavastatin calcium salt is provided to effectively maintain stability of pitavastatin calcium salt in a broad pH range. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition contains tromethamine and a solid dispersion of pitavastatin calcium salt. The content of tromethamine is 0.1-3 weight%. The composition is used in the form of oral solid formulation, tablet, granule, powder, oral tablet, capsule, chewing, and film coating agent. The composition further contains a carrier, disintegrant, binder, and lubricant.
