FLOOR & SIDE WEB PLATE LAYOUT FOR VERY LARGE CONTAINER VESSEL

PURPOSE: A method for arranging the floor and side web structure of a very large container ship is provided to reduce the steel material and man-hour by increasing the interval of the floor of the container ship from 10ft(Feet) to 13.3ft and the decreasing the number of floors from 3 to 2. CONSTITUTION: A method for arranging the floor and side web structure of a very large container ship comprises the following steps. The floors(9) are installed at the double bottom of a very large container ship in horizontal direction. The floors are arranged at the interval of 13.3ft. Two floors are installed in the bay(5) where one container of 40ft is loaded.
