<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint and an electric power steering device that can suppress a generation of an abnormal noise. <P>SOLUTION: A joint 33 has an elastic member 38 intervening between a first engage member 36 and a second engage member 37 and for transmitting a torque therebetween. The first engage member 36 includes a plurality of first coupling protrusions 42 protruding from a first engage member body in an axial direction thereof. The second engage member 37 includes a plurality of second coupling protrusions 52 protruding from a second engage member body in an axial direction thereof. The elastic member 38 includes an annularly-shaped elastic member body 61 and a plurality of coupling arms 63 extending from an inner circumference part 62 thereof in a radially inward direction R31. The plurality of first and second coupling protrusions 42 and 52 are alternately arranged with each other so as to sandwich the coupling arms 63 of the elastic member 38 in a circumferential direction C3, respectively.
