PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide construction machinery which enables an exhaust gas treatment device to be arranged in an engine compartment while keeping exhaust gas purification performance high. SOLUTION: The exhaust gas treatment device 22 is split into a plurality of treatment portions (first and second treatments portions 41 and 42); the treatment portions are disposed so that locations (the first and second closest locations 41a and 42a), closest to an inner surface wall of a rear-side peripheral wall 35, of the treatment portions (the first and second treatments portions 41 and 42) can be positioned on a positioning line 40 at a regular interval d1 along the inner surface wall of a rear-side peripheral wall 35 in a view from a top surface; and at least one of the treatment portions is disposed so that the locations (the first and second closest locations 41a and 42a) can be positioned on the positioning line 40 at the regular interval d1 along an inner surface wall of a curved portion (connecting wall 5a).
