<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal notifying an information service provision device about the position of the mobile terminal with small power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile terminal 40 receives information from an information service provision communication device 30 for transmitting, to the mobile terminal 40, information adapting to the present position of the mobile terminal 40 via a mobile communication network 10. The mobile terminal 40 calculates a moving rectilinear distance between the past position of the mobile terminal 40 and the present position of the mobile terminal 40 by repeating identification of the position of the mobile terminal 40. When the moving rectilinear distance is larger than a threshold, the mobile terminal 40 transmits a signal indicative of the present position to the information service provision communication device 30 but, when the moving rectilinear distance is smaller than the threshold, the mobile terminal 40 does not transmit the signal indicative of the present position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
