摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly quenchable Fe-based rare earth magnetic material that is manufactured by a rapid solidification process and exhibits good magnetic characteristics and thermal stability. <P>SOLUTION: This application relates to an isotropic Nd-Fe-B type magnetic material manufactured by a rapid solidification process having a lower optimal wheel speed and a broader optimal wheel speed window than those used in manufacturing a magnetic material. The material exhibits remanence (B<SB>r</SB>) and intrinsic coercivity (H<SB>ci</SB>) values of between 7.0 to 8.5 kG and 6.5 to 9.9 kOe, respectively, at room temperature. The application also relates to a method of manufacturing the material and to a bonded magnet manufactured from the magnetic material, which is suitable for direct replacement of anisotropic sintered ferrite in many applications. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
