<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence element containing one or more phosphorescent dopants in a light emitting layer between first and second electrodes. <P>SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescence element contains a mixture of a hole transport substance and an electron transport substance as a host in a light emitting layer, and also contains a blue light emitting layer laminated on the upper part of the light emitting layer. Consequently, a common layer of the blue light emitting layer is formed in the upper part of the light emitting layer, and thereby an efficiency and a life property are improved, compared with a conventional structure.
