WELDING DEVICE AND WELDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize welding deformation of a welding object due to unevenness of heat input.

SOLUTION: The welding device welds an object by irradiating the object with a welding beam while rotating the object. The welding device includes a control section for controlling the output of the welding beam and the rotation state of the welding object on the basis of a welding pattern including a primary welding pattern contributing to primary welding and a secondary pattern contributing to secondary welding. The primary welding pattern is set to cause deformation in a direction of canceling the deformation caused by welding the object on the basis of the secondary welding pattern.
