PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find the relationship between the water content of a counter electrode liquid 10 and a background thereof and to improve measurement precision in KF coulometric titration because when a generating liquid 5 and a counter electrode liquid 10 are used by filling an electronic cell 4, there is a cause for affecting the measurement precision that the background of the moisture measuring device increases owing to no specific consideration on the water content of the counter electrode liquid 10 and though the prior art prevents moisture from being absorbed with an dry tube 1 provided. SOLUTION: The method includes the steps of cleaning and drying an instrument used in adjustment of the counter electrode liquid 20 for solving the problem and dehydrating chemicals previously to reduce the water content, and specifying an upper limit value having no effect on the background.
