PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vehicle from being in a runaway state to put the lives and property at great risk, when a mechanical or electric trouble of an accelerator pedal or a control system occurs in a vehicle to make a vehicle be in a control state that a driver has not intend and to cause erroneous running. SOLUTION: A pressure sensor using a piezoelectric element or metal (a straight gauge or the like) is utilized for an accelerator pedal to constitute an inexpensive and highly reliable safety device, so as to prevent the erroneous running of the vehicle not to endanger the lives and property caused by a failure or a trouble in a fuel supply control device.
