PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle device into which a return spring can be incorporated easily. SOLUTION: When a handle 2 is positioned at a predetermined angle position in the opposite direction from a standby angle position, a handle spring 9 is elastically fitted between the handle 2 and an escutcheon 1 in the natural state where no external force is applied to the handle spring 9. By rotating the handle in the operational direction to the standby angle position, an initial charge quantity is applied to the handle spring 9.
