The invention relates to a method for repairing a flange (1) of a housing, for example made of aluminum, for a turbine engine such as an airplane jet engine or turboprop, the flange (1) comprising at least one hole (2) for an apparatus attachment screw to pass through. Said method comprises the consecutive steps that involve:forming a facing (5) in the flange (1) around the hole (2) for the screw to pass through; anodizing the bottom surface (6) of the facing (5); placing a washer (7) in the facing (5); and attaching the washer (7) onto the flange (1) using an adhesive (8).
