CRAWLER-TYPE WALKING MACHINE AND OUTRIGGER CYLINDER THEREOF

An outrigger cylinder for a crawler-type walking machine is provided. The cylinder has a cylinder body (1) and a piston rod (2). One end of the piston rod is sleeved within the cylinder body, and a piston rod head (3) is set on the other end thereof. The base (4) of the cylinder body is located on the end of the cylinder body which is away from the piston rod head. Joint bearings (5) for connecting with the conjoint parts which are attached to the outrigger cylinder are respectively set on the piston rod head and the base of the cylinder body. The outrigger cylinder for the crawler-type walking machine has advantages that it can eliminate vibration,improve the operating reliability and stationarity, reduce the requirements of the precision and the manufacturing cost. A crawler-type walking machine is also provided. It includes a frame (11), a track assembly (8), a steering mechanism and a lifting outrigger (10). A lifting bracket (9) is set on the track assembly. The lifting outrigger is connected with the frame at its one end, and connected with the lifting bracket at its other end. The steering mechanism is mounted on the lifting outrigger, and the outrigger cylinder for the crawler-type walking machine stated above is located in the lifting outrigger. The crawler-type walking machine operates smoothly and reliably. It has long longevity and low manufacturing cost.
