Producing a waterproof, air-permeable polyurethane film, comprises (a) preparing a rubbery material of high polymer polyurethane, (b) adding 1-10% of a positive ion-containing water-repellent material and a positive ion-containing crosslinking agent and thoroughly mixing, and (c) making a film of the above mentioned material mixture with a film thickness of at least 0.01 mm, which is waterproof and permeable to air.
