PURPOSE: An electric control unit of electric power steering system is provided to offer the high efficiency of the motor by controlling a drive of the steering motor using the high voltage power source. CONSTITUTION: An electric control unit(100) of electric power steering system comprises an inverter for high voltage(110), a controller(120), and a signal transferring unit(130). The inverter for high voltage drives a motor(10) by being provided a high voltage power source(11). The controller outputs a control signal which controls the inverter for high voltage in order to control the drive of the motor provided battery power(12). The signal transferring unit transfers the control signal outputted from the controller to the inverter for high voltage. The inverter for high voltage comprises the insulated gate bipolar transistor(IGBT) and high voltage integrated circuit(HVIC). The inverter for high voltage drives the motor provided high voltage form the fuel batter.
