<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact variable focus lens actuator which corrects various spherical aberrations with low power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The variable focus lens actuator is provided with: a rigid film which transmits light received; a transparent liquid to be filled between the rigid film and a transparent deformation film; a magnetic force applying member which applies a bending force to the transparent deformation film when a magnetic field is applied; an electromagnetic structure which bends the transparent deformation film into a desired shape by applying the magnetic field to the magnetic force applying member when current is applied; a lens area which transmits light; a spare area of the transparent liquid; and a flow channel having flow resistance having direction dependency on the transparent liquid flowing between the lens area and the spare area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
