<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording apparatus capable of effectively utilizing a margin of a paper generated in test printing without wasting the margin, and confirming a space from an installation position of a necessary apparatus when the function of the apparatus is used. <P>SOLUTION: Intensive image data SG1 are generated by putting intensively together recording medium image data KG and range image data HG so that they are recorded on the same paper P (S25). The intensive image data SG1 are recorded on the paper P (S29).
