摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing plate precursor which can be subjected to direct platemaking based on digital data, in particular, can be developed with an aqueous solution having a pH of 10 or lower or on a printing machine which excels in development properties and can provide a lithographic printing plate exhibiting high sensitivity, superior stability with the lapse of time, high chemical resistance, proper high plate wear and stain resistance, and to provide a method for preparing a lithographic printing plate. <P>SOLUTION: The lithographic printing plate precursor includes an image-recording layer which is in contact with a support, or includes an undercoat between the support and the image recording layer, wherein the image-recording layer or the undercoat contains a polymer having a structure represented by general formula (I) or (II). A method for preparing a lithographic printing plate that uses the precursor is also provided. In the formulae, R<SP>1</SP>represents a monovalent group; L<SB>1</SB>a divalent connecting group connecting to the main chain of the polymer; L<SB>2</SB>a divalent connecting group; X<SP>+</SP>represents -N<SP>+</SP>R<SP>2</SP>R<SP>3</SP>-, -S<SP>+</SP>R<SP>2</SP>-, -I<SP>+</SP>-, -P<SP>+</SP>R<SP>2</SP>R<SP>3</SP>-, or the like; R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>each independently represents an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heteroaryl group, or R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>may be bonded to each other to form a ring; 1/n(A<SP>n-</SP>) represents an anion; and n represents an integer of 1 to 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
