<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-cooling adapter which can suppress thermal expansion of a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine, and suppress deterioration of cooling efficiency of exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: An inlet portion 8 through which cooling water flows into a water jacket of the water-cooling adapter 1 is provided, opening at a position near the cylinder head 2, so that part of exhaust outlet side of the cylinder head 2 can be efficiently cooled by the water-cooling adapter 1, thus thermal expansion of the part can be lessened. Further, the inlet portion 8 is also provided, opening at a position corresponding to a part between exhaust passages 4 adjacent to each other. As a result, the cooling water of low temperature flowing into the water jacket from the inlet portion 8 easily flow into the part between the exhaust passages 4 adjacent to each other on the water jacket, thus, this makes it possible to suppress deterioration of the cooling efficiency of the exhaust gas in the water-cooling adapter 1 due to the reason why heat exchange between the cooling water and the exhaust gas is difficult to perform on the part between the exhaust passages 4 adjacent to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
